THE recurrence of Lee Briers' hamstring injury happened because of fatigue rather than another pull to the muscle.
Briers returned after four weeks out at Salford on Friday but the hamstring gave him problems again during Monday's game against Huddersfield and he could now be back on the sidelines for Sunday's home match against Leeds.
Paul Cullen said on Tuesday: "Lee Briers has had a recurrence of his hamstring injury.
"We don't know how long he'll be out as yet.
"It's very stiff and very tight, and it's a pre-existing injury fatigue situation rather than a fresh pull."
