WOLVES' pre-season friendly against Salford on Sunday is in doubt.
A pitch inspection is scheduled to take place at The Halliwell Jones Stadium on Thursday to determine whether the game can go ahead, with the club keen to protect the pitch ahead of the Super League opener against Hull on February 8.
Liverpool's reserves were scheduled to play Wigan Athletic at the stadium tonight, Tuesday, but the match has been called off after an inspection this morning because of a waterlogged pitch.
The Reds' second string are also scheduled to take on Bolton Wanderers at The Halliwell Jones on February 4.
