A SUSPECT has been arrested following reports of a domestic incident over the weekend.
A large police presence of a number of Cheshire Police cars and a police van was reported in Appleton on Sunday.
It has been confirmed that officers were dispatched to attend an address on Greenfields Avenue at around 10am.
A man was arrested as a result, with Cheshire Police confirming that he remains in custody at present.
A spokesman for the force said: “At 10am on Sunday, April 21 officers attended an address on Greenfields Avenue, Warrington.
“This was following reports of a domestic incident.
“A 25-year-old man was arrested at the address and remains in custody at this time.”
